Privacy Policy

Effective July 26, 2026. This policy describes how Brighter Minds Lab LLC (“Brighter Minds,” “we,” “us”) handles your information when you use Invest101 on the web, iOS, or Android.

What we collect

  • Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account, including via Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Learning progress. Your practice portfolio, journey progress, lesson completions, and Confidence Score, stored on our servers so your experience follows you across devices.
  • Purchase history. A record of your lifetime purchase, so we can unlock what you paid for. Payments are processed by Apple, Google, or our payment provider — we never see or store your card number.
  • Questions you ask Clover. When you use our in-app guide, your question and relevant learning context are processed by our AI provider to generate an answer.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • We do not collect real financial account data — your Invest101 portfolio is a practice portfolio, and lessons are educational, not financial advice.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to run Invest101: authenticating you, saving your progress, unlocking your purchase, answering your questions, providing support, and keeping the service secure. Our infrastructure providers (such as our database and payment partners) process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app’s settings, or by emailing us — deletion is permanent and takes effect promptly.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted with row-level security, and sessions on mobile are stored in your device’s secure keychain.

Children

Invest101 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
